Planning a party? REAL Has You Covered With These Cocktails

Raise your hands if you are ready for summer! We are getting excited about all the upcoming opportunities to sip on our favourite non-alcoholic drinks. We understand that finding a good alternative to alcohol can be tricky – especially if you are looking for something that tastes and feels similar to alcohol but doesn’t leave you with that dreaded hangover. Here we’ll explain why sparkling tea is the ideal prosecco alternative and suggest how to use it in non-alcoholic cocktails.

Why Is Sparkling Tea  An Ideal Processo Alternative?

Whether you are looking to create healthier drinking habits, reduce your overall alcohol consumption, or just don’t drink REAL Sparkling Tea is a great alternative to alcohol – especially sparkling wines, Champagnes, and prosecco. Processo is known as a drink of celebration. As summer is nearly upon us, you may be starting to think about stocking your fridge with the usual cases of beers and wines, ready for those lighter evenings.

REAL’s range of sparkling teas has a similar acidity, nose, and mouthfeel to prosecco.  REAL is great drunk simply on its own from a wine glass or Champagne flute, alternatively, you can simply replace the bubbly in a cocktail with REAL  and no one will notice any difference. The same goes for pairing it with your favourite foods. Sparkling tea pairs well with anything you may eat alongside a bottle or glass of prosecco.

Sparkling tea is low in sugar and has fewer calories than a glass of wine or prosecco. Typically, a glass of prosecco will contain around 80 calories, an average size glass of wine around 230 calories, and a single vodka and tonic around 97 calories. Whereas, when it comes to kombucha, a regular 120ml Champagne flute of REAL Royal Flush is only 20 calories and 1 regular 175ml wine glass contains 30 calories, giving it an added health benefit when choosing not to drink alcohol.

A Processo-Less Picnic

We don’t know about you, but we love sipping on a cocktail in the sun to welcome this wondrous season. Warmer weather is on the horizon and is a sign to seek out our local pub gardens and parks. Go alcohol-free this picnic season and swap out that bottle for one of our fine sparkline teas.

Picnic Season

If you want an inventive way to our delicious nonalcoholic sparkling, check out our Gardener’s Mistress cocktail using REAL Dry Dragon. This zesty concoction is perfect for warm evenings and sunny picnics in the park. We love going out foraging, so pop on your gardening gloves and gather some of the ingredients straight from your garden.

One Bellini, Hold The Prosecco

A Bellini is probably one of the most popular and well-known serves using prosecco – with good reason, they are delicious. If a Bellini is one of your favourites to order from a bar, we’ve got you covered with our non-alcoholic version.

You will need:

  • 125ml REAL Royal Flush
  • 20ml peach purée (homemade if you can)
  • 5ml jasmine syrup
  • Edible flowers to garnish

Combine the ingredients in a Champagne flute and top with edible flowers for a special touch. The simplicity and velvety texture of this serve makes it timeless as well as an ideal non-alcoholic treat for any occasion.
